Omg one of my all time favourite films is digitally available for the first time ever!!
Lilli, ein Mädchen aus der Großstadt -the film which is basically based on the comic strips about the Bild-Lilli & thus inspiration for the original Barbie dolls- has never been published for purchase anywhere. After its time at the cinemas in 1958, it was only broadcast a few times on German TV, the last time being in 2004. No one seemed to have a recording (…or didn’t know how to digitalize - like me for example haha)
And now a VHS finally found its way to someone who can digitalize it!!
Made another little dress for my Bubus, as modeled by Mokoko.
Dress pattern is from DollClothingPatterns on Etsy. Super cute and good intermediate pattern. I will note though, Labubus and Lafufus tend to vary in size. Having several now I’ve noticed real ones can vary between lines (partly just due to fur thickness being different), and fakies are generally a bit larger.
I’d recommend adding more fabric to the back where the closures go if it’s a bit small for your Bubu/Fufu.
The pattern also included a hat and purse, but I haven’t made those yet.
